SpeakerQuestion: Presenting ideas to upper management?

By February 7, 2013March 30th, 2020SpeakerQuestions

How do I effectively present my ideas to upper management

No matter who you communicate to, the objective is to share information in a way that makes it easy for your listener to understand and take action. If you are not sure what they need to know, ask!  If you can’t get directly to the person (or group of people) you will be presenting to, ask others who may be familiar with your listeners’ questions, concerns or preferred style of communications.

Gaining this type of input will accomplish three things:

  • Provide you with input and direction for your presentation
  • Let’s your audience know you value their time
  • Help you build rapport and develop buy-in
