How do I ensure the main points of my presentation are impactful?
A strong presentation that delivers a good “punch” starts with a strong core message (your “unique perspective”). This 1-sentence summary drives the development of your entire presentation. Your main points should be relevant to and support your core message. If they don’t, delete them. Those that do, elaborate with stories, metaphors, statistics, etc.
TIP: Having a hard time deciding what is relevant? Ask colleagues or potential members of your audience what they would find most valuable. The good news is, you don’t have to figure this out on your own.
